2022 Annual General Meeting
We were delighted to host a number of our supporters and stakeholders at our recent Canterbury Medical Research Foundation Annual General Meeting, which was held on Wednesday, 18th May 5.30pm at Spark Place, Turanga Library.
Our guest speaker for the evening was Professor Nick Draper, the recipient of the 2021 Wine and Art Event grant.
Nick updated us on the progress made to date by his team on the CMRF-funded child health research project, ‘Collisions in junior rugby: Incidence, peak linear accelerations, peak rotational accelerations and the potential of headgear to reduce impact accelerations’ and what the next steps will be in examining how we can best keep our youngest players safe.
