CMRF is delighted to welcome Aotea Group to our family of sponsors with a three year partnership. As founding partner of our ‘Support a Summer Student’ programme, Aotea Group will financially support three university students at both University of Canterbury and University of Otago Christchurch to undertake a meaningful health research project over the summer, valued at $5000 each. The students are due to finish their research projects early in 2022 and we look forward to their findings.
Brian Auld, Area Manager of Aotea Electric Canterbury says: “We wanted to invest in a cause that is able to provide real and long-lasting health benefits to the people of Canterbury, whom we value deeply as our clients. Partnering with CMRF over the next three years means our organisation can make a real difference, and leave a legacy for the future”.
Melissa Haberfield, Foundation Director, says she is thrilled to welcome Aotea Electric Canterbury, and its wider parent, Aotea Group, to the CMRF family. “We embrace organisations such as Aotea Group, who see the value in investing in world-class research, conducted right here in Canterbury. It is because of sponsors such as Aotea Group that we are able to retain and support local research excellence, and provide better health outcomes for our people.”
